Labor Day events in Littleton have received great publicity. A photo of the balloon towering (ahem) over the Irving at Exit 41 is on the front page of the Courier this week, and the first section carries a great photo of Margo Connors and Pat Kellogg at the Coop info table, which attracted many visitors and petition-signers.
After its extremely successful maiden voyage last weekend at a site provided by Jerry Eames (Exit 41), the orange balloon will be able to fly again on Columbus Day weekend at a site provided by another Littleton businessman at Exit 42 (Wal-Mart). Pat Kellogg will be gearing up again soon. Please volunteer your help with the October weekend or donate to the fund for helium to fill the balloon.
Lahout’s North Face on Main Street near the bookstore in Littleton has requested opposition orange tee shirts to sell.
